A place of conviviality and/or rest, the gîte offers all the charm and comfort needed for a successful stay in an authentic, rustic setting. Sunny most of the day, the gîte offers a lush, flower-filled garden and a splendid view of the Monts Dore, with the Puy de Sancy, Auvergne’s highest peak (1886m), standing out from the Puys chain.
Our gîte, La Vacherie, is located in Pardines, near Issoire. Backing onto a plateau with a 360° view of the Puy de Dôme, the Sancy, the Livradois and Forez mountains, our very comfortable and quiet gîte is a haven of peace where you’ll spend a dream vacation.
Within a few kilometers, you’ll discover two of France’s most beautiful villages, as well as the Romanesque churches, castles and lakes that make the Auvergne so charming. You’ll find all the shops, swimming pool, bowling alley, karting, restaurants and exhibition venues in Issoire and Champeix.
