Slow down, listen to nature… Les Jardins de la Brugière is a peaceful guest house : three warm rooms, a gourmet table (homemade meal with products from the garden), a large park. We are fruit red producers.

Welcome to the Livradois : vacations start here ! If you’d like to get away from it all… Les Jardins de la Brugière is a haven of peace and fresh air, on an Auvergne farm in the heart of the Livradois-Forez region.

Three quiet, comfortable guest rooms (on the 1st floor) with views over the countryside. Evening table d’hôte (on reservation), in the “old farmhouse” style dining room. François offers gourmet culinary surprises using seasonal produce : fruit and vegetables from the garden and local producers (mainly organic). On the first floor of the house, the large living room is at your disposal for moments of relaxation : it opens onto the wooded garden (cherry and plum trees), the natural space is yours.

Hammocks and deckchairs are available, as well as a small library and outdoor games. During the week, if you wish, we can organize telescopic stargazing or moon-watching evenings, or cooking workshops : vegetarian recipes, baking and pastries…

Nature-wise, if you’re curious, patient and observant (binoculars available), you’ll discover the biodiversity of our nearby environment : dragonflies, butterflies, newts, toads, orvets, red kites, grey harriers, green woodpeckers, spotted woodpeckers, wagtails, redstarts… and if you’re lucky, deer !

And as you’re on a red berry farm, we’ll be happy to show you around (the plantation, the apiary…), tell you about the fruit, the insects, the bees, but also about organic farming, food autonomy, renewable energies… Honey and red berry jams from our garden will be at the breakfast table, and you can also taste raspberry coulis, blackcurrant syrup, or redcurrant cookies at the table d’hôte. Our three guest rooms can accommodate a total of 8 people, adults and children. Since 2023, we have had a room that can accommodate 3 people, adults and/or children. For larger groups, we have a “dormitory” for an additional 4 to 6 people, located in our “private” area.

We provide garden furniture (hammocks, deckchairs), board games, outdoor games (bowls, badminton rackets, etc.), reading materials, etc. We also provide hair dryers, irons and ironing boards, small sewing kits, backpacks, etc. on request.
