Take a trip back in time with this magnificent studio in an exceptional building listed as a historic monument. South-facing with balcony in the heart of Le Mont Dore, with all amenities within walking distance (the thermal baths are opposite the building / ski shuttle stop at the foot of the building). This is the last remaining apartment in the “Sarciron” palace, built in 1883, which was the largest in Auvergne and one of the most luxurious in Europe. Queen Anne of Romania once stayed in this apartment. France 3 television also shot some of the scenes from the film “Les sources assassines” in this apartment, as well as in the building’s lobby.
The apartment was refurbished in 2020, offering all modern comforts, including a fully-equipped kitchen : dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, oven, microwave, induction hob, fridge/freezer, multi-function food processor. The bathroom has also been completely redone : hydro-massage shower and all the comforts of a modern shower room.
