The Chambon-sur-Lac campground welcomes you when all of its facilities are available : water source, restrooms, and trash cans.

You may set up your tent for a maximum of one night (no vans or cars), provided you set up the tent one hour before sunset and take it down one hour after sunrise.

A shelter cabin is available at the campsite. It can accommodate up to 3 people for one night in the great outdoors (reservations not accepted). For your comfort, please bring your own sleeping pad.
In partnership with the Association of Natural Parks of the Massif Central and the Auvergne Volcanoes Natural Park.

Fires are strictly prohibited.

Please help keep the site clean and respect everyone’s peace and quiet so that the Sancy camping areas can continue to be enjoyed for years to come.

To preserve the flora and natural areas, the town of Chambon-sur-Lac prohibits wild camping, bivouacking, and campfires by municipal ordinance (see below), except at this designated camping area.
