Our idea is both simple and original: to design four-star hotels dedicated to the writers we love, to share our passion with all our visitors, through a variety of artistic and cultural approaches.

Each Hôtel Littéraire is unique (there are 6 in France belonging to our owner). We want to share our passion for a writer in the city where he or she lived. The hotel’s decor pays tribute to the chosen author through a variety of artistic and contemporary approaches. The worlds of Marcel Proust, Gustave Flaubert, Alexandre Vialatte, Marcel Aymé, Arthur Rimbaud and soon Stendhal are very different, but they all share a dazzling literary genius. We’re convinced that our visitors will love the comfort of these four-star hotels, with their elegant and varied cultural offerings.

The Hôtel Littéraire features a space dedicated to the collections gathered over the years around the chosen writer: manuscripts, works of art, period objects and contemporary creations that reinterpret the classics.

Multilingual libraries containing 500 books are available for reading wherever you like, near the bar or in your room. Other bookcases display rare editions and original bindings.

Events regularly enliven the life of your hotel to make it a cultural center in its neighborhood or city, with literary prizes and evenings, art exhibitions, author signings and shows.
