Pavillon Fani in Thiers is a 3* hotel with a sumptuous function room set in a green setting on the banks of the Durolle River. The former Coin Gourmand, an emblematic restaurant in the Moutier district of Thiers, has been refurbished to offer 8 fully-equipped rooms with air conditioning, internet access and HD TV.

Located 30 km northeast of Clermont-Ferrand, Pavillon Fani opened its doors in summer 2019 to welcome you in peace and quiet. All rooms are air-conditioned and offer modern comfort with chic, original decor.

Pavillon Fani, a member of the VillageFani network, has a large function room for family and business events (weddings, seminars, etc.). Integrated catering service offering the best value for money in the region.

COVID 19

It’s worth noting that since 2012, the Village Fani Group has been rethinking the modern hotel business for very small structures. We have always worked to optimize, rationalize and remove hotel constraints. Freedom, for our customers and for us, has always been at the heart of our development strategy.
In fact, since 2012, we have been sketching out the first features of the hotel experience of the future (we would like to remind you that this only applies to small structures of no more than twenty numbers with less than 30% occupancy per year).

Since the Covid, we’ve been pushing the concept of freedom to the limit, and the beginnings of our new “ZERO CONTACT” concept for the covid period :

1. A free welcome :

Observation : reception hours for small structures are restrictive. You can access the hotel from 5pm to 8pm…beyond these hours, there is no reception and you can no longer access your room…

Our solution : AUTOMATIZATION of rooms !

– You book a room in a VillageFani establishment, typically via an online platform, via the Internet on our website or simply by telephone, on our central reservation system…
– A few hours later you receive an e-mail from the VillageFani establishment :
*Confirming your reservation,
*Informs you of the establishment’s amenities : parking, room descriptions, facilities, etc.
*Informs you about the new concept of automation in the establishment : your room number and a code will be sent to you by SMS mid-morning on the day of your arrival.

– If you have any problems, we’ll be happy to help by phone.

Benefit : You arrive when you want to, with complete freedom !

2. The freedom of breakfast :

The observation : in many small structures, or larger, breakfast times are constraints : you have one from 7am to 9 :30am. Ipso facto at 6 or 11 a.m. : you don’t have breakfast.

– Our adaptation : We offer a full breakfast waiting for you in your room, just as if you were at home. 15 products in your minibar a Nespresso coffee machine a microwave … It’s all there !

– Benefit. For you : you always have breakfast, with no time constraints !

–> What Covid has changed :

On the strength of this experience and customer feedback on this popular concept, since the first containment, we’ve gone even further. We introduced the “ZERO CONTACT” concept. With our restaurants and reception halls closed, we had to come up with an idea to offer dinner to our customers and remain attractive to our travelling business clientele.
We set up self-service menus in each establishment. These menus, prepared by our Table de Fani catering service from local produce and vacuum-packed in jars, are to be reheated in the room on arrival… A jug of local wine completes the dinner…

– Advantage. For you : You can eat on site, with no time constraints !

Although we are occasionally criticized for the dehumanization of the hotel industry… We felt that the “ZERO CONTACT” concept during the covid period was much appreciated and, above all, in line with current sanitary conditions. You can find the whole concept on our website www.villagefani.com.

For several months now, our sector has been going through an unprecedented health and economic crisis, completely beyond our control. However, the values and those of the VillageFani Group that we uphold will never consider resignation. We will be resilient !
