Arboretum of the Thermal Park

Châteauneuf-les-Bains

Created in 1882 with predominantly North American influences (giant sequoias). Classed as an ‘Arboretum’ since 1984, the Thermal Park offers lovely walks along the banks of the Sioule. Facts about the species can be found at the base of each specimen.

This thermal park was created from plans by Jean-Baptiste Bargoin and Henri Lecoq, pharmacists and naturalists.
