The side facing the road depicts a host placed on a pedestal, surrounded by rays forming a glory and surmounted by a small cross. The scene ‘The Virgin and Child’ can be seen.
The opposite side has been given a very crude Christ on the Cross, also without any detail, but with his arms hanging high above his head. The cross is protected by a small, two-sloped stone roof. This cross is very interesting for its rarity.
In fact, there are few calvaries in our region composed of several scenes. It’s a fine example of Auvergne folk art.
