Ravel

Château de Ravel dates back to 1147 and was first occupied by Pierre de Ravel. It became royal property under Philip III the Bold and Philip the Fair.

At the start of the tour, the guide will gather you under the arcades. The guided tour begins with the exterior, before entering the main courtyard, visiting the stables and the Salle des États Généraux, home to one of France’s earliest heraldic friezes. Inside the château, you’ll visit a dozen period-furnished rooms.

From 01/05 to 31/08/2026 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and weekends between 10 am and 6.15 pm.
Guided tour on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and weekends every 3.30 PM between 10 am and 2 pm and from 5 pm.

From 01/09 to 31/12/2026 weekends between 2 pm and 6.15 pm.
Guided tour weekends every 17 hours between 2 pm and 3.30 pm.

Additional information

The château park closes after the last visit in the morning and afternoon. Length of guided tour 1h15 (minimum 2 adults). Not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
