Saint-Georges Church

It was altered in the 15th century and a polygonal turret was added to the south transept. It was renovated in the 19th century.
The church has a two-bay Romanesque nave and a single-bay Gothic choir.

The Compains bell tower, rebuilt in 1822, has a spire covered in chestnut shingles, a common feature in mountain regions.

The southern portal : the portal leaves are covered with four wrought-iron hinges. Parts of the hinges are adorned with sketches of human heads or monster gules.

Inside the church : narrow lancet windows illuminate the five-sided polygonal apse, whose corners are adorned with colonnettes.
An andesite cemetery cross stands near the baptismal font.
