The Colamine chapel had attracted a population of peasants to the area, attracted by land-clearing activities. Today, the church, built in the middle of clearing clearings, stands alone. The single-nave edifice is topped by a square, slate-roofed bell tower. When it was restored in 1979, 7 statues, including a Romanesque Virgin in Majesty, hidden behind the altarpiece of the main altar, were found. Listed as Historic Monuments, the polychrome wooden statues are now on display in the church.
