Eggbeaters, curling irons, winegrowers’ pruning knives, scythe-beating anvils, farm implements, fireplace servers, chocolate makers, waffle moulds, toys of yesteryear… so many everyday tools and implements, more or less a century old, patiently collected over more than twenty years with genuine passion. Romain and Thérèse Grard-Jaffeux will introduce you to the characteristic tools of ancestral trades, as well as those of everyday life in the past. Through a wealth of anecdotes and explanations, they shed light on these different instruments, revealing the ingenuity of those who painstakingly crafted them, without forgetting the sometimes thankless work of those who used them for so long. Open by appointment, Monday to Saturday (free admission). NB : Jean Jaffeux’s painting studio can be visited at the same address and at the same times.
