Landscaped garden created during the Second Empire on the site of a former “foirail” and in line with the railway station. Named in homage to Claude and Pierre Virlogeux, a couple of Rion resistance fighters.

Landscaped garden created during the Second Empire on the site of a former “foirail” and in line with the railway station. Named in homage to Claude and Pierre Virlogeux, a couple of Rion resistance fighters.

Grotto and double basin crossed by a footbridge. The statues “La Marseillaise” by Dagonnet and “Le Chef gaulois mourant” by Grébert were installed thanks to Riom mayor Etienne Clémentel.

Arc de triomphe, monument to the Great War dead. Remarkable trees. Riom has been awarded a 3rd fleur for the quality of its flower beds.
