Tracs d’Apcher

Anzat-le-Luguet

Located on a short hike, the tracs d’Apcher, ancestor of the burons, are traces of a seasonal dwelling before the hamlet of Apcher was built. They are only accessible on foot.

It’s a 30-45 minute walk from the Plaine de Guerre parking lot up the Rayet trail. Tracs, or tras, are groups of holes dug long ago by shepherds to protect themselves from the wind and weather. A sort of ancient dwelling. The ancestor of the buron ! You’ll find them in Apcher, for example, on hikes and walks.
