Gignat

These hills in terrace offer to people driving on the motorway A75 a typical view of the Limagne hills. These superb hills reflect the Lembronnais, small natural area at the South West of Issoire. A small discovery path has recently been organized, and it allows discover orchids at the path’s edge. Halfway up the hill, you will dominate others hills and others plateaus (the chaux) of this area : you will enjoy a beautiful landscape at 180°. Start since the village of Gignat (town hall). Tour of 2,5 km, 1h.

From the village of Gignat, a small discovery trail allows you to discover the many species of orchids along the path itself.
Starting point from the village of Gignat (Town Hall), head towards the church, take Espinasses Street.
Route : 2.5 km loop.
Time : 1h.
