Nathalie and her team welcome you to the Auberge du Lac de Guéry, one of the most magical places in the Auvergne. This traditional lakeside house, with the Monts Dore as a backdrop, is one of the region’s most emblematic clichés : a real postcard inn !

A gourmet cocoon.
In this unique setting, hospitality and good living are traditional. Nestled at an altitude of 1,250 meters, this former coaching inn is the perfect place to enjoy the surrounding countryside, while savoring traditional, delicate cuisine. The chef offers a menu in keeping with the setting and a gastronomy of local produce, proudly featuring Auvergne specialities : lake fish (Arctic char, pike-perch and trout all year round, fried bleak on the terrace in summer), summer meats and many other tasty recipes after a day in the fresh air. The fishpond is fed by a mountain stream, the cheeses are matured in the cellars of neighboring farms, and the charcuterie comes from a traditional salting process. In short, the menu focuses on fresh, regional produce.
The welcome is friendly : good humor, simple welcome, selected music, warm and refined surroundings. The restaurant is housed in the establishment’s former stable. Wood is omnipresent, the exposed framework protects guests, two wooden canoes hang from the ceiling, and the trapper atmosphere is guaranteed.
Local gastronomy. We favour short supply circuits, passionate producers and fresh produce.
