Located at an altitude of 1050 m on the borders of the Puy-de-Dôme, Loire and Haute-Loire departments, the Auberge de Medeyrolles is an invitation to discover the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park. Here, nature stretches as far as the eye can see, between forests, valleys and plateaus. On a clear day, you can even see the majestic Chaîne des Puys, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The region is a veritable playground for hiking, horse-riding and motorcycle enthusiasts. Numerous trails and itineraries wind their way through wild, unspoilt landscapes, offering a wide variety of panoramic views. Motorcyclists will appreciate the winding, scenic roads, while horse riders will enjoy the long-distance trails.

Lovers of local produce won’t want to miss the Craponne-sur-Arzon market, renowned for its local producers and friendly atmosphere. At the auberge, we make it a point of honor to cook with fresh, seasonal local produce.
