Stand-up paddling, also known as SUP, or simply paddle, is a water sport in which you stand up on a board (longer than a traditional surfboard), propelled by a paddle.
It’s not difficult to get back on the board, especially as the Sailing School has large, stable boards for beginners. It’s just as suitable for nature lovers as it is for sports enthusiasts who want to keep fit with this “gentle” but complete activity.
Equipment supplied by École de voile d’Aydat :
– Lifejacket
– Wetsuit (loaned during your course or rented on request)
To bring with you:
– Bathing suit and shorts
– Closed-toe shoes (mandatory)
– For hot weather: cap or hat, sunglasses (with cord), sun cream
– Against the cold: windproof jacket (see windproof pants), fleece
– A complete change of clothes and towel
