The art of lacemaking, once the livelihood of our Auvergne peasant women, is now a hobby and a passion for all ages.
Created in 1987, the École de Dentelle is run by a teacher who holds the Certificat d’Aptitude Professionnel – Art de la dentelle, obtained in 1987, and the brevet des Métiers d’Art – option Dentelle aux fuseaux, obtained in 2014.
Pedagogical and didactic courses are offered, based on a pre-established program or on a personalized program after study of the technique already acquired.
Each course is supplemented by written support (diagrams, pictograms) to facilitate personal work. All necessary equipment is available on site.
