I was born in Denmark, where I had my first experience of pottery.
For 7 years, I took evening classes and weekend courses, while passing my baccalaureate in physics and chemistry.

I left Denmark for France to discover wood-fired kilns at La Borne d’Henrichemont, where I stayed for 10 years.

The next stop was the Village Potier des Archers, in Le Châtelet, in the south of the Cher department, for a period of 25 years. Today, since July 2023, I’ve been based in the Puy-de-Dôme region.

I have no formal training, no diploma, but from the outset I’ve always sought to learn, master, improve and discover pottery in all its forms : I’m something of a self-taught artist.

I want my pots to be “Happy”. I like colors and combinations.
I make my own glazes from natural raw materials : feldspar, kaolin, lime, silica and metal oxides.
For colors : I work mainly with Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye stoneware. I use electric firing.

My creations can also be experienced with the hands : you can grasp them, touch them, caress them, listen to them…
Touch the surface, discover the traces of my fingers, sometimes notes (C, D, E) will find resonance in the volume of my pots.

You can use my pots every day to eat, drink, store and, of course, decorate. They’re microwave- and dishwasher-safe, and the garden pieces are frost-resistant.

At my home in Beaune-le-froid, I welcome you to my boutique-atelier. I’ll tell you the stories behind my pots, sometimes I’ll give you a demonstration, and together we can work out your pot wishes and orders.
