Step 1 : From the start sign, head into the undergrowth ; follow the main path for 2.3 km, ignoring the side paths, until you reach a fork in a clearing at the end of a meadow.

Step 2 : Turn left. Leave a rising track on your left, then turn left at the next two intersections. At the fork, turn right to join the D90 at the entrance to the village of Égaules.

Step 3 : Follow the road to the left for 50 m, then turn right down Rue des Grands Prés. At the crossroads after the last houses, turn right. At the T-junction, turn left, then right at the fork. Fork left and go down a sunken lane. Continue, ignoring the paths on either side, until you reach an intersection.

Step 4 : Climb left along the railroad for 1 km. The path then bends to the left (view of the Chaîne des Puys). Continue straight ahead until you reach the D90.

Next step

Step 5 : Keep right for 150 m. At the junction with the D943, leave the road and turn left. At the intersection, follow the same route to the right as before, and return to the starting point.
