Route description

Start : Salle PolyvalenteFrom Clermont, direction Limoges, Volvic. At the junction at the entrance to Sayat, enter the town center. At the traffic lights, turn left into rue Gustave Fougère as far as the Salle Polyvalente.

Step 1 : Start : Walk up the street towards the Dischamp cheese factory. In the square, go round the factory to the left, skirting the river (Le Bédat). Join the road, then turn left as far as the crossroads. Cross the road and drive alongside the leather factory. Pass Château de Féligonde and take the path on the right.

Step 2 : Before the road, turn left. Cross the road and head for the sports complex. Follow the tennis court, then turn right and climb up to the road. Follow the road for about 100 m, cross it and take the path opposite.

Step 3 : At the end of the track, turn left and pick up the path. Continue for about 600m to the road. Turn right into the street and continue for about 300m. At the crow’s-foot, turn left up the hill and continue to the center of Argnat village.

Step 4 : To return to the starting point :
– by the same route + 3.8 km
– via Le Grand Vert + 12.3 km (see page 38)
