It is a dam lake designed for swimming and water sports. The lake Chambon has been awarded the Blue Flag label.
Le Lac Chambon a la particularité d’appartenir administrativement aux communes de Murol et de Chambon-sur-Lac.
C’est un lac aménagé pour la baignade (2 plages – plage ‘Murol’ et plage ‘Chambon’, les activités nautiques (location de pédalos et de canoës) et la pêche.
