N°2 – Quatre Vents Nature Centre / Place Jean Payre de Courpière link – Espace VTT-FFCT

The route descends along the côteaux de Puissauve track, before taking the route communale des Taillades. It then crosses Parc Lasdonnas, leading directly to Place Jean Payre, Courpière’s focal point.

The route descends along the côteaux de Puissauve track, before taking the route communale des Taillades. It then crosses Parc Lasdonnas, leading directly to Place Jean Payre, Courpière’s focal point.
On the return journey, the route follows the boulevards of the medieval quarters, before crossing the bridge over the Dore. It then heads due north, passing close to the Château de la Barge, before gradually ascending to the Plateau des Quatre Vents, via gently sloping paths and communal roads.
Accessible and well-marked, this route is a pleasant, easy alternative to the mountain bike circuits of Courpière, offering a varied mix of heritage and open countryside.
