After leaving the nature center, the route crosses “La Plaine” before reaching Puymillier on a steep, shady path. This village is home to the “Mulberry Tree of the Knight”, a remarkable tree measuring 4.18 m in circumference and around 400 years old. After Puymillier, a narrow path with a few steps cut into the rock requires a little technique before reaching Aubusson-d’Auvergne. The descent then leads to the lake, which the tour circles on shady paths before reaching its beach, awarded the “Pavillon Bleu” label.
