A very pretty, signposted circuit, alternating ascents and descents, with several technical passages such as deep ruts, slopes and small scree slopes. Particular care is advised on the first descent between Ollières and the Mégain bridge, especially without warming up first. The route then skirts the western part of Lac d’Aubusson before passing close to the Notre-Dame d’Espinasse chapel, built over a miraculous spring whose water is reputed to cure certain skin ailments such as eczema.
