Departing from Saint-Maurice-près-Pionsat, this walk takes in the Bregirolle lake and the Quartz piton at La Roche d’Agoux.
Étape 1 : Cross the road and continue straight ahead on a small road. Take the first track on the left. At the crossroads at the end of a hill, turn right. Follow the road opposite, and in the Grange du Bois, keep to the right to take a track. Ignore the first track on the right. At the T-junction, turn left and continue until you reach a road.
Étape 2 : Go up to the right. After the hamlet of La Serve, at the crossroads, follow the tarmac track to the left. After 200m, take a grassy track on the right and ignore a track on the left. Keep to the left and join the road at the entrance to La Roche d’Agoux. Follow the road to the left (noteworthy lime tree) and turn right towards Laugerolle (Rocher d’Agoux quartz boulder). After 300m, at a house, turn right down the track. At the first crossroads (buildings on the right) go straight ahead and at the next crossroads turn right to reach a road.
Étape 3 : Cross the road and follow the road opposite (Chez Paute). After the last house in the hamlet
continue straight ahead on the dirt track. Turn left at the T-junction and left again at
. Stay on this track until you reach the first grassy path on the right (crossing under the
power line). Take this and at the crossroads go right as far as a fork. Turn left and after 20 metres
turn left again to reach a road beside the lake.
Étape 4 : Turn right along the wooden fence and cross the dyke. At the end (picnic area
nique), turn right into a sunken lane, ignore a track on the right and go as far as the road. Go up to
on the right and walk along the square on the right to reach the starting point.

For your own safety, always take a bottle of water, a hat, warm clothing and footwear suitable for walking.
Depending on the weather conditions, some routes are not recommended in bad weather (fog) or are not practicable, or even forbidden, during the winter season.
Some sites are fragile, so stay on the marked paths. Avoid picking wild flowers and disturbing wildlife. Pick up your rubbish.
Animals are not allowed on some routes.
