Magnificent viewpoint from a quartz piton ! The piton, called Château Banu, the former site of a medieval castle that has now disappeared, is accessible at the exit of the village, and offers a remarkable view of the surroundings.
Lovers of mineralogy can discover several types of silica such as cauliflower quartz, smoky quartz, small geodes and agathes. Lovers of mineralogy can discover several types of silica such as cauliflower quartz, smoky quartz, small geodes and agathes. As this site is protected, it is forbidden to collect minerals on the piton, on the other hand, the trench troughs contain beautiful crystals. The enamelled lava orientation table installed at the top of the quartz piton (723m of altitude) allows a 360° understanding of the landscape offered.
