Fishing site – Étang des Cayers

1,3 ha communal fishing pond, close to the village of Fontbonne in Saint-Pardoux. A haven of peace for fishing and nature lovers…Fishing is managed privately by the ‘L’étang des Cayers’ association.

Fishing by jigging, casting and fly fishing is authorised. (Spoons and lures are not allowed).
Carp NO-KILL ˃2kg (any carp over 2kg must be returned to the water)
Trout: 4/day or (large 1/day)
Tench: 2/day
Frying: free

You must have a membership card or day pass before fishing.

From 28/02 to 30/04/2026 on Wednesday and weekends. Closed on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

From 01/05 to 17/05/2026 daily.

From 18/05 to 30/11/2026 daily.

Prices and payment methods

  • Annual pass: €60 or €90 (full)
  • From 18/05/2026 :
  • Daily pass: €10
  • Weekly pass: €40 (7 consecutive days)
  • – Each pass entitles the holder to one rod and the holder's spouse to one rod.
  • – Free fishing for children under the age of 12 whose parents or grandparents hold a card.
  • In these 2 cases, the total catch must not exceed the daily quotas.
