Fishing site – Étang des Planches

Sainte-Christine

The town of Sainte-Christine in the Combrailles has the Etang des Planches with a surface area of 5.80 ha in a preserved setting.

The pond is mainly used for fishing and offers a pleasant relaxation area. The latest developments have enabled the construction of fishing pontoons and toilets with access for people with reduced mobility, as well as a path allowing you to go around the entire pond.
A playground including a swing and spring games was set up on the site at the end of 2016.

From 07/03 to 15/12/2026 daily.
Closed exceptionally on 25/07 and 26/07.
Closed on release days (see regulations on site) and during the wood festival.

Free entry for children under 12.
€7: Day pass
€20: Weekly pass
€65: Annual pass
Youth rate (ages 12 to 16) €40: Annual pass
Free for children under 12 accompanied by an adult with a lake pass.

Regulations: Zander 60 cm and pike 70 cm / maximum 2 predators per day, trout larger than 20 cm / 6 catches per day per angler, including a maximum of one large fish, carp from 2 to 5 kg / maximum 3 carp per day (storage bags prohibited). Pontoon for people with reduced mobility, path around the pond.
Camping and night fishing prohibited.
