Fishing site – Rivière La Dordogne

Messeix

The AAPPMPA of Messeix, Savennes and Singles is situated in the Upper Dordogne basin. Our area stretches from the Combrailles in the north, the Artense in the south, the Sancy massif in the east and Corrèze in the west.

Please note that the Dordogne has a ‘no-kill’ stretch open to all fishing methods, running from the bridge between La Vergne and Les Renardières (Saint-Sauves commune) for approximately 14 km to the Chalameyroux bridge (D73). In accordance with the annual prefectural decree, anglers are required to use a single hook with the barbs flattened.
