On August 6 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, enjoy a unique experience in the heart of the Massif du Sancy by taking part in a farm tour at the GAEC des Marmottes in the commune of Chambon-sur-Lac.

Accompanied by an enthusiastic guide, you’ll discover the Sancy landscapes and this family-run farm.

Program:
– Guided tour of the surrounding countryside
– Discovery of rotary milking of cows
– Explanations on the breeding and production of Saint-Nectaire cheese
– Informal discussions about the profession, the region and farm products

– Minimum age: 7 years
– Distance: 5km
– Difficulty: Easy
– Duration: 3h00 (walk + meeting at the farm)

!! This is not an educational activity at the farm, but a 2-hour walk followed by a presentation of the farm by the farmer!
