The Four Banal : the beating heart of our festival and heritage.

The Bread Festival is above all a unique opportunity to rekindle our magnificent banal oven, and keep it alive ! For two weeks, the warmth of its ancestral stones will delight us with a variety of baking techniques. More than a simple tool, this oven is an essential part of our rural heritage, cherished by all our inhabitants, and whose upkeep is essential.

Gourmets, who have been loyal to the oven for 42 years now, enjoyed our wood-fired specialties in the store :
– Rustic bread made with Limagne flour
– Tasty walnut bread
– The famous “Billot” (the local porridge pie)
– The generous Pompe aux pommes
– The comforting Potato Pie
– And of course, FAMEUSES Tripes, concocted with passion over many years by our wood-fired expert ! The incomparable delicacy for which our festival is famous.
