Witness the breathtaking ballet of the stars, planets and moon. See the rings of Saturn, the Milky Way, the birth and death of the stars, as you’ve never seen them before…
Before night falls, Gérard Coute will give you an introduction to the starry sky visible that evening, with accessible explanations of the basics of astronomy.

– Duration : 3 hours
– Free, ON reservation
– Meet at the summit of the Puy de Dôme, in front of the Grand Site area.
> Bring warm clothes, blankets, long pants… because even in summer, it’s cold and windy at 1465m.
> Participants have the option of taking the 8 p.m. train to the event. A special train will be chartered for the midnight descent.
