2ᵉ step : virtual reality immersion
After the tour, we’ll equip you with a virtual reality (VR) headset to retrace this journey 2,000 years back to the temple’s heyday. You’ll see it as if it still existed today ! Sensations guaranteed !

Practical info :
✔ Guided tour for individuals only ; not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
✔ The immersive session is reserved for children aged 12 and over ; below this age, their visual development is not sufficiently mature to practice safely.
✔ Online reservation required
✔ Duration : 45 min guided tour + 5 min virtual reality immersion.
✔ Price :
– Full price : €8
– Reduced rate* : €6 RSA recipients, jobseekers and students
– Young people aged 3 to 14 and schoolchildren* : free
– Children aged 3 and under do not need tickets to take part in guided tours.
*Proof of status may be requested on site.
✔ Important information :
In the event of adverse weather conditions, guided tour arrangements may be adapted. Depending on the severity of the weather, the time spent inside the Temple of Mercury may be reduced. The tour can also take place entirely in the museum area of the Temple de Mercure, or be transferred to the Grand Site de France area in the form of a mini-conference.
In the event of bad weather, no refund will be made if an alternative solution is proposed. Only tours cancelled by the Conseil départemental du Puy-de-Dôme will be reimbursed.
