100% Dog Friendly – In the heart of the Sancy massif (1100 m)

Imagine an old Auvergne farmhouse with character, nestled in the absolute calm of the small hamlet of Grouffaud, in Picherande. All around you, lush green meadows, open horizons and wilderness trails accessible right from your door. Here, time slows down, nature is omnipresent and dogs are king.

At the Bergerie du Sancy, welcoming your four-legged companions is part of our identity. All dogs, without exception, whatever their size, breed or number, are welcomed with kindness, without supplement or constraint. They are free to enjoy the fully enclosed private garden (600 m² with 1.50 m security fence), as well as the entire interior of the gîte, including the bedrooms. Need to leave without them ? Your dogs can stay at home.

Spacious and welcoming, the Bergerie (130 m², sleeps 2 to 8) offers an authentic experience.
On the first floor, you’ll find a cosy bedroom with a double bed, a large, bright living room with a fully-equipped kitchen, a convivial sitting room around a wood-burning stove (wood supplied), as well as a bathroom with a walk-in shower, separate toilet, laundry room and office.

Upstairs, a bedroom with three single beds rubs shoulders with another large bedroom with a comfortable double bed. A second shower room and separate WC complete the space.
Hotel-quality bedding, beds made up on arrival, linen provided, fiber Wi-Fi, games, topographical guides : everything is designed to make your stay as easy as possible.

And because your well-being also includes that of your dogs, everything is provided : bowls, mats, blankets, outdoor shower, and even personalized advice for dog-friendly outings and visits in the surrounding area.
