Les Jonquilles” is part of the Vertige estate, which also offers bed & breakfast and a natural camping area. The vacation home is independent of the rest of the estate. It has 3 bedrooms and if you rent the large house also a large luxury attic. This 80m2 or 120m2 house, spread over two or three levels, offers a living room with kitchen and bathroom on the first floor, as well as 3 bedrooms and a second toilet on the first floor, with the attic converted into a superb loft with luxury bathroom. Electric heating and a wood-burning stove provide comfort all year round, in every season. There’s also a games room and washing machine in an 18 m2 annexe.

Les jonquilles has its own terrace and private 3000m2 orchard. The house is situated at an altitude of 900 m, overlooking the valley. At the edge of forests and fields on the edge of a small hamlet near Echandelys, in the heart of the Livradois Forez Regional Nature Park. Far from towns and industry, come and enjoy the breeze, the birdsong and the peace and quiet.

There are numerous walks, bike rides and mountain bike trails. Domaine du Vertige is a great starting point for exploring the towns of Issoire with its Roman church, Ambert, the volcanoes and Puy de Dôme, Clermont Ferrand, Le Puy en Velay and La Chaise Dieu with its 12th-century abbey. Or for enjoying a wide range of activities : swimming in the Vernet la Varennes lake, paragliding, fishing, hiking with donkeys or horses, canoeing, adventure parks… And for enjoying the blissful silence on your return.
In summer, we offer an on-site bread service. The bakery/grocery is 4 km away, the supermarket 6 km, and the larger supermarkets 17 and 25 km. At Le Vertige, you can enjoy our table d’hôtes, which is very popular in high season. We use local produce and organic products from our kitchen garden.
