Job

We found here everything that we were looking for : old stones, a spring, meadows all around. The house was too big for us, so we decided to restore a former workshop into a self-catering gîte. Riders.are welcome. Open all year round.

Prices and payment methods

  • Overnight : 70 to 80 € (70 € : low season, from Nov. 1st to March 31st.
  • Reservations for 2 nights minimum.)
  • Week : 420 to 480 € (420 € : low season, from Nov. 1st to March 31st).
  • Pets : dogs free, horses €10/night, €40/week.
  • We require payment by bank transfer, PayPal or cheque at the time of booking.
  • Le Havre de Chiron has a special offer for horseback riders. We can open our guest room to them (65 € per night), and for them we also offer breakfast (included for duos in the guest room and as an extra for those booking the gîte : 6 €/person), and we can also open our table d'hôtes to them as an extra : 15 €/person (starter, main course and dessert + coffee or herbal tea). Reservations required.

Pets welcome

Dogs allowed : Dogs are welcome free of charge. For horses, we charge €10 per horse per night. We offer a fenced-in meadow with electricity, running water and unlimited hay in nets should the grass run out. We can supply you with feed from the Purefeed range. We also have everything you need for minor injuries. Trained in equine and canine massages, we can also offer treatments. Finally, in case of emergency, we have a vet in Ambert or Cunlhat.

Additional information

We can accommodate up to 4 horses on a boarding basis for a stopover or a stay (April to October only). From the gîte, hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers have easy access to trails.
