The church from the 15th century is built on a Romanesque basis and is worth the journey for one of the most beautiful and mysterious Virgin in Majesty of Auvergne.
Classified as a Historical Monument in 1903, this statue of the Virgin and Child, called in majesty of the 12th century, has a strange history in our time. The virgin was stolen in 1983 and found in Madrid only in 2000 ! Restored in 2005 to the village of Saint-Gervazy, the virgin was restored to her original land with great pomp.
