Saint-Loup Church

It comprises a single nave, flanked by rear chapels, a crossing bay, a straight choir bay and a semicircular apse. Most of the structure is built in arkose. On the west façade, the Romanesque portal opens under a semicircular arch, highlighted by an archivolt molding decorated with split pearls bearing traces of polychromy. These motifs are similar to those on the portals of the churches of Saint-Nicolas de Nonette and Sainte-Madeleine
d’Orsonnette, mentioned above. Of a more modest initial elevation, the bell tower was raised and crowned in the 19ᵉ century with a wrought-iron campanile. The portal sashes are trimmed with medieval hinges, with ends barked with human and animal heads.
