Sainte-Anne Church

Heume-l’Église

Heume l’église, Sainte-Anne, was probably built in the late 12th century (MH 22/05/1905).It has an elongated plan, with two naves and four bays (originally five) of ribbed vaulting, and no actual choir.

Remodeled in various stages, the first bay was demolished and replaced by a bell tower.

Sainte-Anne retains numerous capitals and modillions from the 12th and 13th centuries, including one that has been replaced by a stoup.

The church’s rich furnishings include over fourteen items listed in the Monuments(…)
