Le Mont-Dore thermal spa

Mont-Dore

Discovery of a building classified in part as a historical monument. Built between 1817 and 1823 on the site of the Roman baths, the architecture of the building is neo-Byzantine.

The building has remained unchanged for two centuries. Only the structures have been adapted to meet more modern care techniques.
You’ll discover polychrome paintings and mosaics, some dating from the 19th century, pediments and architraves, as well as Gallo-Roman remains unearthed when the current spa was built.
