– Ecological garden : Landscaped garden with almost 800 plants, representing the different landscapes of France. A water basin enhances the area. – Trees and shrubs : Collection from 5 continents. – Botanical collection : 1,500 plant species classified by family, genus and evolution over time. – Garden of the 5 senses : Sight through the colors and shapes of plants ; touch through the silky, rough, smooth or pungent ; smell through pleasant or fetid scents sweet, peppery, salty or acidic ; hearing through the rustle of leaves and the bursting sound of fruit. – Collections of succulents : Rocaille planted with Sempervivium. – Themed garden : Different themes (medicinal, dyeing, textile, perfume, toxic, aromatic, food plants…). – Different themes exhibited over 2 years. This year, edible flowers, dye plants and melliferous plants are in the spotlight. – Perennials and climbing roses : Scents and staggered blooms from the botanical garden’s collections. – Seed bank : A seed bank resulting from international exchanges with 250 botanical gardens. Accessible only during guided tours. – Jardin d’essais : Collection of plants adapted to tomorrow’s flowers.
Access by bus : lines S11 and S14 stop “Malintrat”.
Opening hours
All year round daily between 8 am and 5 pm. Closed on weekends and public holidays from November 1 to April 1.
The greenhouses are open during the “rendez-vous aux jardins” and the European Heritage Days.
