Jardin Lecoq

Clermont-Ferrand

Beautiful 5-hectare garden with trees, right in the center of Clermont-Ferrand.

Work on the garden began in 1863, under the aegis of Henri Lecoq, a professor of mineralogy and botany, and was completed in 1909.
Today, the 5-hectare garden is a beautiful green space in the heart of the city, featuring a vast pond, a rose garden and sculpted groups. In line with the footbridge is the gateway to the Château de Bien-Assis, the only vestige of Blaise Pascal’s family home.
