Tours of the farm and garden, permaculture, pony or carriage rides, equine mediation, creations using natural materials, botanical walks, Halloween and Christmas decorations, not forgetting a great workshop where you can learn how to make goat’s cheese from milking to tasting ! One of our young people will be happy to accompany you on your visit to help you make it a success !

Setting up an educational farm in a medical-social establishment for teenagers placed under court order is an innovative and profoundly human approach. It is part of a care, education and reintegration program, complementing the therapeutic and educational support already in place.
Daily contact with animals and plants helps to soothe, regulate emotions and reduce behavioral problems. Nature becomes a place to breathe and rebuild.

Farming activities enable young people to develop practical skills that are often absent from their school careers. This learning restores the meaning of effort and boosts self-esteem.

Taking care of a living being requires consistency, attention and benevolence. These responsibilities enable young people to feel useful, recognized and capable.

We are delighted to welcome you to our educational farm, a space for discovery, sharing and learning, located at the heart of the Centre Éducatif Fermé “L’Arverne”.
We’d like to reassure you that, although the CEF is an educational establishment designed to support troubled teenagers in a structured setting, the educational farm is a secure, professionally supervised environment. It enables young people to develop skills, and to rediscover the values of respect, responsibility and hard work.
