Messeix
The Minérail Museum will give you an insight into the gruelling daily lives of the miners and the mining facilities. Follow this with a visit to the Rural School Museum and the church. Then take a stroll along the undulating paths before stopping for a break at Le Coin Latino restaurant.
Enjoy a quick dip in the Béal des Roziers lake, then set off on a 5.5 km walk to explore the village of Messeix, with lovely panoramic views of the Sancy Massif and the Chavanon viaduct
