Fall Hikes : The Fall Hiking Event Featuring 63 Routes

From October 3 to 31, 2026, the Traversées d'Automne invites you to discover the Puy-de-Dôme on foot. Through 63 trails spread across the entire region, explore diverse landscapes, remarkable natural sites, charming villages, and the local traditions that make the department so rich.

Whether you enjoy family outings, are passionate about cultural heritage, are an athlete looking for new challenges, or simply love nature, this program has been designed to satisfy everyone’s desire to get away from it all.

For this inaugural edition, Les Traversées d'Automne offers two complementary formats so you can explore the region however you like.

Join a Guided Hike

Accompanied by a qualified professional, discover the landscapes, heritage, and local traditions of the Puy-de-Dôme during these accessible outings, available by registration.

Enjoy special event hikes

Open to the public, these hikes feature activities, tastings, and opportunities to meet local residents. A friendly and immersive experience in the heart of Puy-de-Dôme.

To ensure that everyone can enjoy them, several levels will be offered from accessible routes (including those for people with disabilities) to more challenging ones.

Les Traversées d'Automne invites you to (re)discover all the facets of the Puy-de-Dôme through a rich and varied program organized around seven major themes.

  2. Road biking and mountain biking : cycling routes to explore the region in a different way.
  3. Gastronomy and local products : gourmet tours to discover the flavors and producers of Puy-de-Dôme.
