Route description

Take up the challenge of this mountain bike trail, which takes you in the footsteps of the Gauls and offers 360° views of the Gergovie plateau.

Leaving from La Roche-Blanche, this tour alternates between technical and panoramic trails, offering superb views and thrills. It takes you to the famous Gergovie plateau, site of the historic battle between Julius Caesar and Vercingetorix.

The Base VTT des Volcans is a veritable playground for lovers of nature, heritage and mountain biking. Located south of Clermont-Ferrand, this accredited base offers 25 signposted circuits, accessible from 6 starting villages : Mirefleurs, La Roche-Blanche, Authezat, Saint-Saturnin, Vic-le-Comte and Aydat.
