The GTMC-VTT, from Riom to Clermont-Ferrand.The GTMC mountain bike route continues from Riom to Clermont-Ferrand, with numerous views over the Limagne plain, Riom and Clermont Ferrand, its cathedral… and the Michelin test track.
After Marsat, the route climbs up into the forest for a few kilometers on very pleasant tracks and paths. After a short descent, the climb resumes. The short final steep slope gives way to Chateaugay, where a series of cellars carved out of basalt bear witness to the village’s rich(…)

Dogs allowed Although not recommended, some mountain bikers may travel with pets. In such cases, it will be essential to carry the animal or keep it on a leash on sections of the route shared with motorized traffic, as well as on trails where the presence of animals is regulated.
On paths where the presence of animals is forbidden by decree (in National Parks in particular), mountain bikers will have to find an alternative route on paths where the presence of animals is not regulated, or temporarily separate themselves from their animal on the stages concerned.
