Charensat

Located one hour from Clermont-Ferrand, Pond of Chancelade is a body of water in the Combrailles which is still richly preserved and full of fish. Its area of 132 hectares offers many fishing possibilities.Fishing in closed water and private management.

Predator fishermen or carp anglers, there’s something for everyone! “No-kill” management allows the presence of numerous trophy fish as well as a very interesting average size of fish. And for non-fishermen, the splendid setting and the hiking trails around the pond will delight lovers of nature, photos and ornithology.

From 01/01 to 31/12 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and weekends. Closed on Thursday.

  • From €150 to €200: Annual permit – All types of fishing
  • €250: Annual permit – All types of fishing + night fishing
  • €10: Boat hire
  • Free for women and ascendants and descendants of municipal annual permit holders!.
